Issue/Introduction

Problem

Scheduled reports exist in CA Business Intelligence (CABI), however they fail when run as a part of a schedule.  This may only affect a subset of all scheduled reports.  If the reports are run manually, they complete properly.

Environment

CA Service Desk Manager (CA SDM) 14.1

CABI/BOXI 4.x

Cause

The schedule in the CABI CMS database has become partially or completely corrupted due to an unknown error.  Some possibilities include interrupted network connectivity during an update, physical data corruption, etc.

Resolution

Create a new schedule for the affected CABI reports from scratch that matches the corrupted schedule and remove the old schedule.  Recycle the SIA and Tomcat processes via the Central Configuration Manager (CCM) to ensure that there are no lasting artifacts from the previous schedules.

If this is unsuccessful, please raise a case with CA Support for further assistance.
