Telegraf Agent installed on a VM shows version 8.18.3 while Aria Operations and Cloud Proxy are both on version 8.18.5

Issue/Introduction

1. Your Aria Operations and Cloud Proxy are both on version 8.18.5.

Note: The version can be found on the appliances' blue login screens in vCenter. Also, for Aria Operations, you can go to https://AriaOps_IP_or_FQDN/ui, then click on the top right person icon drop-down menu > About. For Cloud Proxy, go to https://AriaOps_IP_or_FQDN/ui, then go to Administration > Cloud Proxies, then click into the Cloud Proxy, and you will see the OVA version.

2. However, the Telegraf Agent installed on the endpoint shows version 8.18.3.

Note: To check the version, go to https://AriaOps_IP_or_FQDN/ui. Then go to Operations > Applications > Manage Telegraf Agents, it's under the Agent Version column.

Resolution

This is a known cosmetic issue that is currently being worked on, which will be fixed in the feature release. No other product function is impacted by this.
