Issue/Introduction

The datastore mount step step 2 under Prepare cloud storage resources to run VMs is missing during a test failover in VLCR.

After running a test failover/failover the recovery SDDC does not show any tasks to mount the NFS datastore.

The recovery SDDC was attached or deployed prior to 7.27.x release.

Environment

VMware Live Cyber Recovery 7.27.x

Cause

With version 7.27.x the NASConfig property is not longer used and instead a new mount API is used to support customers SDDC configured with different management network other than the default network. Only new SDDCs version 2.20.x use the new API.

Resolution

If you are experiencing the above symptoms, engage Broadcom Support to have the cleanup done in the backend.

Note: The process involves detaching the Recovery SDDC for a brief period of time and perform a configuration cleanup. The new API will be in use once the recovery SDDC is attached back. There will be no impact to the replications.
