Issue/Introduction

Broadcom provided daily quota limit based on the licenses is exhausted.

Environment

vDefend SSP Version: 5.2 and later

Avi Operations: 5.2 and later

Cause

Cause:

You are using Broadcom account and your daily quota limit based on the licenses is exhausted.

Check your usage and entitlement using SSP API - GET /ai-assistants/broadcom-account-config.

The daily tokens allocated are consumed during bundle import and chat conversations. See below examples of available and entitled token values. "daily_token_quota" represents entitled quota and "current_daily_token_usage" represents consumed quota.

Once the alarm is cleared, used/available quota is visible AI Assistant Firewall/Avi chat window.

Resolution

  • Switch to BYOK customer account to continue using AI Assistant.

    1. Login to SSP, goto System > Platform & Services > AI Assistant tile to configure Cloud Account.

    2. Select "Customer Account" and click on Edit to upload the BYOK key to continue using AI Assistant.

  • Buy more cores of vDefend license.

  • Wait for the quota to automatically reset everyday at 00:00 UTC time.

  • If there was new bundle imported which take high number of tokens on this day, please consider sending questions next day.
