A new AI Assistant bundle available.

Issue/Introduction

An informational alarm to indicate the new bundle is available

Environment

vDefend SSP Version: 5.2 and later

Avi Operations: 5.2 and later

 

Cause

User has currently imported bundle older than newly available bundle to import at vTIS. Two possibilities:

• User has disabled auto download of bundles.
• Possible case if auto bundle download task is yet to execute.
• Existing alarms like vTIS connectivity, bundle download alarms.

Resolution

If auto download is already enabled, please wait for another day (worst case) to get it resolved by daily running auto download task.

There are two options available:

• Option 1 - Enable auto-download:
  
  Login to SSP
  Auto download of bundles. Goto System → Platform & Features → AI assistant tile card (Firewall or Avi) → Edit Bundle management → on the AI Assistant Bundle page Edit mode to Auto-Update from vTIS.
  
  
  
• Option 2 - Manually import new bundle:

1. Navigate to the vTIS portal, by pasting the following URL in a browser: https://portal.securityti.vmware.com/

2. Invoke SSP API, GET /ai-assistants/llm-support?usage=AI_ASSISTANT_PLATFORM API to check which embedding_model marked default=true. Goto vTIS portal - Threat Intelligence Bundle > AI Assistant > Select SSP Version > select embedding model from above API. Download the bundle.
   
   
3. Login to SSP and goto Goto System → Platform & Features → AI assistant tile card (Firewall or Avi) → Edit Bundle management → on the AI Assistant Bundle page. Click on Manage Bundles and then click Upload Bundle button to upload new bundle.
