Issue/Introduction

  • VIBs are removed after adding new ESXi host from SDDC
  • The VIBs are installed manually from ESXi directly
  • The VIBs are not included in the vLCM image
  • SDDC Manager applies the vLCM image after adding new host

Cause

The VIBs are not included in the vLCM image

Resolution

To Add the VIBs to Cluster Image and Install VIBs to ESXi Hosts:
 
1: Import the VIBs file to the vLCM
2: Edit Image for the cluster by adding the Add-on/Components 
3: Check compliance and Remediate the ESXi Hosts
