Issue/Introduction

• NSX Manager is unable to properly load the Inventory page, as well as the nodes and cluster-related information under the Fabric tab.
• NSX manager UI display the below error:

• • Edge list failed – Index is currently out of sync for resource_type: PhysicalServer, TransportNode. The system is attempting to recover.
  • Transport Node list failed – Index is currently out of sync for resource_type: PhysicalServer, TransportNode. The system is attempting to recover.
  • Error – Index is currently out of sync for Host Transport Node. The system is attempting to recover. (Error code: 60515)

• NSX Manager logs show following log entries:
  • /var/log/syslog:

The fetching of transport zone while indexing HostTN is failing with below exception:

Host transport node indexing is failing:

• Running GET/api/v1/transport-zone fails with null point exception:

GET /api/v1/transport-zones returned status: 500, body: {\n \"module_name\" : \"common-services\",\n \"error_message\" : \"General error has occurred.\",\n \"details\" : \"java.lang.NullPointerException\",\n \"error_code\" : 100\n}\n",

Cause

The Host Transport Node indexing is failing due to a stale Transport Zone entry.
