Issue/Introduction

Issue:

When installing CA OPS/MVS where can I find the library MQM.SCSQLOAD?

Symptoms:

When running the SMP/E APPLY step during CA OPS/MVS installation the following allocation error message may be issued:

GIM54701E ** ALLOCATION FAILED FOR SCSQLOAD - IKJ56228I DATA SET MQM.SCSQLOAD NOT IN CATALOG OR CATALOG CAN NOT BE ACCESSED.

Resolution/Workaround:

MQM.SCSQLOAD is the IBM WebsSphere MQ-Series load library. If you do not have this product installed at your site, you must change the SMP/E DDDEF SCSQLOAD on the CA OPS/MVS CSI via a SMP/E UCLIN REP job. Replace "MQM.SCSQLOAD" by "prefix.CCLXSIDE" where "prefix" is the high level qualifier of your CA OPS/MVS target libraries.

Additional Information:

You can find additional information about the CA OPS/MVS installation procedure at our website: CA Technologies Documentation
