Unable to access ESXi host via https://<IPADDRESS> after adding the host to vCenter

Issue/Introduction

The ESXi host is available via https://< IP_ADDRESS> once it is built. However, after it is added to the vCenter, the host is no longer accessible via https://< IP_ADDRESS>.

Environment

VCSA 8.x

ESXi 8.x

Cause

The customer networking device was tagging IP traffic as default or "unknown", which blocked Management network IP traffic, causing the failure.

Resolution

Add rules as required to the networking device to allow traffic.
