Reachability average response times are missing

Issue/Introduction

We have lots of devices without reachability average response times. Customers are complaining about no data in the graph.

Environment

Dx NetOps Performance Management any version

Cause

If the device 'Reachability' metric is backed by 'System Statistics' (aka SNMP) and not 'ICMP', there is no avg response time.  Only the ICMP VC records that

Resolution

Rediscover the device with ICMP:

 

This will add the ICMP as the backing vendor cert for the Reachability metric family and you should now get that data in oyur charts
