Issue/Introduction

This article describes a scenario where you notice an email which was Blocked and Deleted by Skeptic Heuristic, but other services such as Scan time still taking action or displayed in the Scan time report.

Resolution

Emails set to be blocked and deleted by Anti-Spam Skeptic heuristics will still be subject to further scanning such as by Data Protection and Scan-time Protection. Once all scanning has taken place only the highest priority action will be carried out and contradictory actions will be suppressed. However emails set to be blocked and deleted by Anti-Spam Brightmail signatures will Not be subject to further scanning such as by Data Protection and Scan-time Protection.
