Unable to add multiple ESXi hosts to VxRail cluster with error messages "Unable to create transport node collection with profile..."

Issue/Introduction

When adding multiple ESXi hosts to VxRail cluster using  SDDC manager user interface (Add VxRail Hosts) following symptom can be occur :
( If only one ESXi hosts is attempted to add to the VxRail cluster, this issue does not match.)

- Failed the task of  "Adding new host(s) to VxRail cluster <The name of Workload Domain>"
- In subtask "Prepare Transport Node Collection", following Error message can be seen

  Message: Unable to create transport node collection with profile <UUID> on compute collection <UUID> through nsx manager <FQDN of NSX manager>

- In SDDC manager, it appears that only one ESXi host is registered and the service account is registered only on this host.


Environment

VCF on VxRail 5.2.1

Cause

This issue is lead by the known issue which is reported in following KB:

Only 1 VxRail host visible on thumbprint verification screen

In above KB, the issue is only one ESXi hosts can be seen in "Thumbprint verification" even if multiple ESXi hosts are attempted to add the cluster in the wizard.

However, in above situation, when proceeding this wizard and launch the task, this issue will be happened.

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in VCF 5.2.2 and later.

To workaround the issue,

- If  SDDC manager UI is used, please add one at a time.

- If you will use API, please add the hosts as a reference to following KB:
