Issue/Introduction

This article provides instructions on how to update the license details in the vCenter Server in VCF Operations 9.x post split of license keys

Environment

VCF Operations 9.x

VMware vCenter Server 9.0

Resolution

Based on the license details, you can split the license and update the split license information in the Broadcom Support Portal

Once the license has been split, follow the steps below:

Navigate to the path below:

• VCF Operations > License Management > Registrations, and select Update Licenses to reflect the changes.
• License Management > Licenses, Reassign the primary license, it should now reflect the updated name, into the vCenter Server license tab.

Validate the updated license name in the vCenter Server License Details.
