Issue/Introduction

Aria Operations for Logs losing internal config settings

The internal configuration settings in Aria Operations for Logs (Earlier known as vRealize Log Insight) are being resets to default after certificate change. 

Environment

Aria Operations for Logs 8.x

Cause

After renewing the Active Directory certificate, AD was re-synced to accept the new certificate. However, Log Insight was not restarted after this change. Each time a new certificate is updated, fields that are not visible in the UI (internal settings) get reset to their default values.

Resolution

Permanent fix will be made available in future release, until then the workaround is to reapply the internal configuration values whenever they reset to default.
