Issue/Introduction

• Multiple alerts triggered for VCF Diagnostics Adapter Instance in VCF Operations 9.0.

• The "/storage/log/vcops/log/adapters/DiagnosticsAdapter/DiagnosticsAdapter.log" had below entries:

  ERROR DiagnosticsAdapter #### [ops@#### threadId="###" threadName="Collector worker thread 17" instanceId="#####"] [(#####) com.vmware.adapter3.diagnostics.endpoints.EndpointDiscovery.getCapabilityRegistryEndpoint] - Capability with key ops-li does not exist.
WARN  DiagnosticsAdapter #### [ops@#### threadId="###" threadName="Collector worker thread 17" instanceId="#####"] [(#####) com.vmware.adapter3.diagnostics.endpoints.EndpointDiscovery.queryEndPoints] - No LI instance found in capability registry. Will skip LI endpoint.

VCF Operations 9.0

Cause

Missing VCF Operations logs configuration prevented the proper setup of VCF Operations diagnostics adapter.

Resolution

Deploy and Configure the VCF Operations for logs appliance to resolve the VCF Diagnostics Adapter data receiving issue.
