Issue/Introduction

  •  Aria Operations UI > Search and Select VM > Click on actions > Virtual machine action option does not shows any workflow associated from orchestrator.

  • Navigating to Aria Orchestrator UI > Administration > Inventory > vSphere vCenter Server >  Shows an error https://vCenter FQDN:443/sdk (unusablejava.lang.RuntimeException:java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException) 

Environment

Aria Orchestrator (vRO) 8.18.1

Aria Operations 8.18.5

Cause

The issue occurs when Virtual Machines are migrated from one vCenter Server to another, causing the vCenter to appear as unusable under the Aria Orchestrator UI

Resolution

Follow the steps below to resolve this issue 

1.Follow the steps from the KB below:

2.Log in to the Aria Operations UI.

3.Navigate to Administrator → Integration → Aria Orchestrator Adapter.

4.Click Edit on the existing adapter instance.

5.Click Validate Connection to confirm successful communication.

6.Click Save to apply the configuration.

7.After completing the above steps, verify if the Aria Automation workflows are now visible under the Run Action menu for a Virtual Machine object within Aria Operations.
