Initiating Aria Operations update from admin UI returns a blank screen after selecting " Install a Software Update"

Issue/Introduction

• A blank screen appears immediately after selecting "Install a Software Update" in the Aria Operations admin UI, preventing the update.

• Running "Pre-Upgrade Readiness Assessment" test reports "Cluster certificate is expired".

 

Environment

Aria Operations 8.x

Cause

An expired Aria Operations cluster certificate will interrupt the upgrade and cause the admin UI to display a blank screen when installing a software update.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, perform the following actions:

1. Update Aria Operations certificate.
2. Re-run the "Pre-Upgrade Readiness Assessment" test and confirm the cluster is healthy.
3. Initiate the upgrade of Aria Operations.
