Can't add a storage class to a new region in VCF Automation

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

  • The existing organizations, quotas and the region were deleted.
  • When creating a new Organization, the Storage Classes limit sections can generate an error "Numeric values is too large"
  • Modification of Region Quota for the organization generates an error similar to "The VCF Tenant Manager entity [] does not exist.

Environment

VCF Automation 9.0

Cause

The vCenter listener starts with a non IAAS profile because the last region was removed from VCF Automation.

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in VCF 9.1

Workaround:

  • Navigate to VCF Automation Client >> Connections
  • Disable related vCenter endpoint
  • Remove the related vCenter
  • Reconnect related vCenter endpoint
  • Creat a new Organization.
