Messaging Gateway system is offline and cannot be reached either from the Control Center web interface or the command line via ssh.
The system console shows repeated errors similar to the following:
Delayed block allocation failed for inode[number]INFO: task 1341742941@qtp-:26397 blocked for more than 120 seconds."echo 0 > /proc/kernel/hung_tast_timeout_secs" disables this message.
Messaging Gateway
The SMG operating system is unable to communicate with the underlying disk subsystem.
This is usually the result of a failure in the virtual machine server losing connection with either its own local disk storage or a disconnection from the storage area network (SAN).
Restart the Messaging Gateway virtual machine.
If a restart of the VM does not resolve the issue, confirm that the virtual machine host is not generating errors when attempting to communicate with the local or network file storage.
Note: the disconnection of a running SMG virtual machine from disk storage may result in an unrecoverable corrupted virtual disk file. If the SMG virtual machine fails to restart, check the system console for errors indicating a corrupted filsystem and a prompt to log in as root to recover the system.
