Trusted root certificate under Certificate Management displays Name as alphanumeric characters

Issue/Introduction

Trusted root certificate under certificate management is displayed in alphanumeric characters instead of alias name : 0634######F98B73C2######7F58197BE5######

Environment

vCenter Server 7.x

Resolution

This is an expected behavior, the alphanumeric characters displayed represent the Subject Key Identifier for the alias certificate, which is located under the Trusted Roots store.

Verify the corresponding alias name using the command "/usr/lib/vmware-vmafd/bin/vecs-cli entry list --store TRUSTED_ROOTS --text"
