Issue/Introduction

Question:

In OneView, the host value of WA for IIS always shows the IPv6 address. What do we need to do/change so that the IPv4 address is captured by OneView instead of the IPv6 address?

Answer:

You can check this Microsoft document on how to manually disable IPv6 or its components for machine with web agent.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929852

You need to restart the computer for this registry value to take effect. Once restarted, the IPv4 address should reported to OneView.
