vCenter shows NSX opaque networks after N-VDS to VDS migration

Issue/Introduction

After migration from a N-VDS to a VDS, still see multiple network that make reference to the N-VDS 

Environment

VMware NSX

VMware vSphere 

Cause

There is an entry that is making a reference to those network 

Resolution

Check the following places to see if anything is looking at those network 

 

• Host 
  • Go to Network --> hosts
    
    • 
  • This should be empty 
• VM's 
  • Go to Network --> VM's
    
    • NOTE: Keep in mind that when it comes to VM we also have templates, which also do have a network attached to them 

For template, next step will be require to be able to removed network 

1. Click on actions 
2. Convert to virtual machine 
3. Once this Template is back into a VM Click actions again 
4. Edit setting 
5. Click under network and change it to the new network 
6. Save 
7. Click on Actions again 
8. Convert to template
