"Org Vdc ###### does not have the following network capability" when editing edge gateway in VMware Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

When editing an edge gateway to add a service an error is returned. For example if DHCPv6 with SLAAC was being enabled the following error would be given:

Org Vdc ###### does not have the following network capability: slaac

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.1.1
NSX 4.2.x

Cause

There is no edge cluster defined for the edge gateway at the provider level.

Resolution

At the provider view:
1. Access the Organization VDC, but do not enter the tenant portal.
2. Go to Networking -> Edge Cluster.
3. Edit the edge cluster settings and define an edge cluster for the organization VDC.
4. Save the settings, and confirm that for the edge gateway an edge cluster is defined.
5. Re-attempt adding the service.
