Cannot Start PAMSC 14.1 CP7 on AIX 7.1

Issue/Introduction

The PAMSC agent has been upgraded to 14.1 CP7 on AIX servers, but it cannot start on AIX 7.1 servers. AIX 7.2 and 7.3 servers have no issue.

Environment

PAM Server Control 14.1 CP7
AIX 7.1

Cause

The system call file used for AIX 7.1 (SEOS_syscall.710.64) is no longer included in the PAMSC installation package due to the fact that the EOS date for AIX 7.1 was April 30, 2023.

Resolution

Please upgrade the server to a supported version of AIX in order to run PAMSC 14.1 CP7.
