Issue/Introduction

  • NSX Edge node is being deployed through the vSphere UI (Not directly through NSX GUI).
  • On "Configure Edge Node", the list of vmnics in section "Edge Node Uplink Mapping" doesn't show all available host uplinks (vmnics):
  • This issue will only manifest when the "Edge node uplink" section is at the very bottom of the dialog, where the "Active PNIC" dropdown opens upwards. 

Environment

VMware NSX 9.0

Resolution

This is a known issue impacting VMware NSX.

 

Workaround:

In the UI, scroll down while the "Management IP" fields are seen, the "Active PNIC" dropdown opens downwards on the bottom of the pane and the pNICs should be selectable:
