ft_Temp_File=no not working on Java agents - temporary file cannot be renamed

Issue/Introduction

The parameter ft_Temp_File=no is not working on the Java Agent (v21/v24)

The option ft_Temp_File=no was used on v21 C-based Windows Agent but the option is not working on the Java-based Agent.

The Agent is always behaving like ft_Temp_File=yes is set.

The v24 Agents that are still C-based do work correctly.

In case of file transfers where the temporary file cannot be used, the transfer can fail with this kind of error:

"The temporary file '\\source_path\7A3DFP_0.tmp' cannot be renamed to destination file '\\target_path\targetfile'. Error '3 - The system cannot find the path specified.' ."

Resolution

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.
