Missing Devices sent from UIM to DX OI, DXO2.

Issue/Introduction

It seems that after one of the recent apm_bridge updates, devices monitored by the url_response probe are no longer being published to DX OI. Unfortunately, I cannot identify the exact date when this stopped working, since items are only removed from DX OI after XY days (the integration is managed by my colleague who is currently on vacation, so I don’t have full details about the retention settings).

At the moment, we are missing more than 100 devices in DX OI, even though they are still visible and monitored in DX UIM.

I was informed that starting with some apm_bridge version, the probes considered for publishing are controlled by the "probe_list" attribute in the configuration. The url_response probe is present in this list, but it seems that it is not working correctly anymore.

Could you please confirm if there was a change in how url_response devices are handled in apm_bridge, or advise what needs to be adjusted in the configuration so that these devices are published again?

Resolution

Refer to the oi_connector and apm_bridge setup and best practices document. In case issue remain contact UIM support. When it is confirmed that there are no setup or performance issues with connector gather the logs from DXO2 components like TAS (tas.log) and NASS. For NASS from following pods: apmservices-nass and doi-nass-indexer.
