Removing L2E networks when the HCX-NE are in a unavailable state .

Issue/Introduction

• Due to unforeseen circumstances HCX-NE  are unavailable and cannot be redeployed

Cause

This can be due to the HCX-NE  being removed manually from the vCenter Inventory or not been able to power on , before unextending the network.

Resolution

This is a condition that may occur in a VMware HCX  environment.

• In the HCX Manager UI, select Services Network Extension.
• The system displays a list of extended networks.
• Select the network or networks that must be unextended and click the ellipsis menu to see a list of actions.
• Select the "Force Unextend Networks" option .This will force unextend the network. For more information, see: Removing a Network Extension
• Repeat the steps for any vLAN's that are associated with the affected HCX-NE appliance
