There are specific considerations to keep in mind when designing and setting up an NSX environment.

Resolution

The following pieces of documentation all most be followed with designing and setting up any NSX-enabled environment (NSX version 4.2.x):
1. NSX Reference Design Guide for NSX 4.2
2. NSX Administration Guide
3. NSX Install Guide

The combination of all of the above documents is necessary to correctly setup NSX.
