Cannot integrate VCF operations with VCF Operations for Logs - Fleet Manager Lifecycle showing Error LCMVROPSYTEM30018

Issue/Introduction

You don't see an option for integrating VCF Operations with VCF Operations for Logs.

Under Fleet Manager Lifecycle, when you tried to integrate VCF Operations for Logs, you are getting an Error

" Push Capabilities to
Error Code: LCMVROPSYTEM30018 "

Environment

VCF Operations 9.x

Cause

The Fleet Manager's hostname was deployed and configured as a short name instead of FQDN.  The following Error can be seen from the VCF Operations /storage/vcops/log/casa/casa.log:

The short name for the hostname is shown in Fleet Management > Lifecycle > VCF Management > Settings

Resolution

• Remove the pending VCF Operations for Logs deployment.
• Redeploy the Fleet Manager and ensure hostname is configured with Fully Qualify Domain Name (FQDN).
• Re-perform VCF Operations for Logs component integration under Fleet Manager > Lifecycle.
