Issue/Introduction

• From Site recovery UI > Site Pair > Array Pairs > " Array Manager ping in failed state" as below:
  
  
  
  

• Device discovery fails with the error message: "SRA command 'discoverdDevices' failed"

  

Environment

VMware Live Recovery 9.x

Cause

The issue occurs when SRM fails to discover devices because the peer array with the specified ID is not found which indicates that the array pair between the local and remote arrays is not properly established, resulting in array discovery failure.

Resolution
