Fast Recover for DB2 for z/OS

Issue/Introduction

Executing Fast Recover for Db2 for z/OS (PFR) with STARTLOGPOINT, ENDLOGPOINT, and OBIDXLAT keywords and receiving:

PFR0107I - RECOVER OF TABLESPACE 'xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx' COMPLETED WITH ERRORS
PFR0111I - RECOVER STATEMENT PROCESSING COMPLETE. HIGHEST RETURN CODE = 8
PFR0299E - COULD NOT FIND BSDS NEEDED FOR OBID TRANSLATION - CHECK PARMLIB
This Error has Occurred in CSECT - GRA@LOPN

Resolution

If the image copy is from another Db2 Subsystem (ssid) and STARTLOGPOINT is specified, PFR must have
access to the BSDS for that ssid, DASD must be shared, and the BSDS information must be present in SETUPxx member of hlq.CDBAPARM.

Make certain the ssid BSDS is defined in the SETUPxx member.  If using a ENVDEF member, make certain it is directed to the correct suffix for the system desired.

Try executing PFR without STARTLOGPOINT.  If that is successful then the image copy is calling for a BSDS that is not available to your PFR job.
