Issue/Introduction

You start to see messages as "Product registration is disable.  Product Registration RC=00000010 and reason code=0000010" when using a Broadcom product such as Web Viewer 14.

Cause

You will see Product Registration RC=AAAAAAAA and reason code=BBBBBBBB

Both the return code and reason code are in hexadecimal format and will need to be translated to decimal format.  The error message is from the product you are using, but the error codes is from Broadcom Common Components and Services (CCS).

Resolution

For Product Registration RC=00000010 and reason code=00000010

The real error message would be RC=16 and Reason code=16.

With this information this gives the meaningful error "The RGPD_BLK parameter list version is invalid or not supported."

This error is normally caused by missing Common Components and Services (CCS) maintenance (PTFs).
