How do I configure NSX backups?

Issue/Introduction

NSX does not support snapshot-based backups. How are backups of NSX performed?

VMware NSX

Cause

NSX requires it's own kind of backup - which is performed from within NSX. 

Resolution

For NSX 4.2.x, use the following instructions to setup NSX backups:
Configure backups

For other versions, simply choose your NSX version from the dropdown.
