Issue/Introduction

NSX Certificates are not displaying in the Aria Operations Certificate Dashboard

Environment

VMware Aria Operations version 8.18.x and lower.

Cause

The issue of missing certificate information for VCF Managed NSX Manager nodes in Aria Operations occurs due to a known limitation. Currently, the platform does not support displaying certificate information for NSX Manager nodes in VCF-based environments. This functionality is limited to standalone NSX environments that are not connected to VCF.

Resolution

To mitigate the impact of this limitation, implement the following workaround:

Collapse the widget for NSX Manager nodes to prevent empty entries from causing confusion. Since certificate information for these nodes is not published in VCF-based environments, hiding the widget will improve the user experience by removing unnecessary empty entries.
