Issue/Introduction

A process with a long command line is being monitored.

When an alert is generated for that process, the alert message is very long, as it contains all the command line options as part of the alert.

e.g.:

process is down:  processname.exe -option1 -option2 -option3 -option4 -option5 -option6 -option7

Environment

DX UIM - Any Version
processes probe - any version

Cause

working as designed

Resolution

This is expected when "name + command line" monitoring is used.  

As a workaround, consider whether you can monitor the process only by name or binary path instead.

You could also set a custom alarm message in the probe instead of relying on the default message.
