Issue/Introduction
- Metrics Password Summary:root|Health State is showing Yellow.
- Metrics Password Summary:root|Last modified is showing root password is expired.
Validated vCenter root user password is not expired.
Cause
Unhealthy SoS service in SDDC Manager didn't allow Aria Operations to run any new health summary tasks.
Resolution
Follow the below steps to run API call from SDDC Manager.
- Login to SDDC manager
- Go to Developer center and search "SOS utility".
- Run GET API:
/v1/system/health-summary and copy the "healthsummaryspec" file and "Health-Check operation for SDDC" id.

- Run Post API :
/v1/system/health-summary with updated "passwordHealth":to true value and "Health-Check operation for SDDC" id.

- Restart collection for Infrastructure Health adapter for Cloud Proxy in Aria operations.
Note: In case of POST API call stuck, restart SOS service in SDDC appliance.
