Issue/Introduction

• Incident is generated by the Aria Automation ITSM plugin for ServiceNow and it fails with following errors:
  
  Retried topic: reconcileActionsDep has failed upon multiple retries and details about the failed topic are as following:
  Request:
  Response:
  State: Error
  Endpoint:
  RetryCount: 3
  
  
• Reviewing the 'Job Queues' from ServiceNow, you see multiple 'reconcileActionsDep' jobs in 'Error' state:
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• In Deployments, you see a deployment with no projects associated:
  
  

Environment

Aria Automation 8.18.x
ServiceNow Yokohama

Cause

This issue occurs when there is an entry present in deployment table of ServiceNow with no project associations

Resolution

To resolve this issue, perform the following actions:

1. Once the deployment with empty project is identified, retire the same from ServiceNow by changing the 'Operation status' to 'Retired'. 
   
   
   
   
   
2. Execute the 'ReconcileActions' from ServiceNow > VCF Automation > Job Schedules following the instructions provided below and the 'reconcileActionsDep' will complete successfully.
