Issue/Introduction

• You have an entitlement/license for the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) product
• You are using individual components of VMware Cloud Foundation (traditional vCenter, ESXi, NSX, etc...) but not VCF itself.
• You would like to use the VMware HCX product to perform VM/workload migrations.

Environment

• VMware HCX
• VMware Cloud Foundation

Resolution

VMware HCX is deployed independently of VCF. There is no requirement to have VCF deployed to make use of the VMware HCX product.
