The vSphere Replication Adapter has a Error status with the following message:
com.vmware.vim.vmomi.core.exception.CertificationValidationException: Server certificate chain is not trusted and the thumbprint doesn't match.
Aria Operations 8.18.x
vShere Replication Management Pack 9.0.1
The adapter failed to validate the vCenter certificate when configured with the vCenter FQDN. Reconfiguring the adapter to use the vCenter IP forced a reinitialization of the integration, which cleared the certificate recognition error; reverting to the FQDN after the reset retained the fix.
Workaround:
1. Log in to the Aria Operations product UI(https://AriaOps_FQDN_or_IP_address/vcf-operations/ui).
2. Locate the vShere Replication Management Pack and click on the 3 dots next to the adapter, and click Edit to get to the configuration.
3. Change the vCenter FQDN to its IP address, and make sure the username and password are correct.
4. Click on VALIDATE CONNECTION and accept the pop-up certificate, if any.
5. Save the integration.
6. Change the IP address back to the FQDN if needed, and repeat steps 4 - 5 to save the integration.
