Issue/Introduction

When comparing savings in the CloudHealth classic Cost Savings report to the NX Realized Savings / Commitment Savings, the classic savings are larger

Resolution

Classic savings include RI savings and other discounts, but the Commitment savings in NX only shows RI savings, which is why it is lower.

These figures can be calculated using figures from FlexReports

RI savings (NX value) = Total OnDemandCost - reservation/EffectiveCost

Total savings (Classic savings) = Total OnDemandCost - reservation/NetEffectiveCost
