"License count exceeded. Please add additional license keys" warning message in VCF Operations for Networks

Issue/Introduction

1. You observe the message  "License count exceeded. Please add additional license keys" in the GUI for VCF Operations for Networks
   
   
2. Refer to screenshot below from Aria Operations for Networks GUI for the warning message:
   
   

Environment

Aria Operations for Networks 6.13.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.0
Aria Operations for Networks 6.14.1

Cause

Warning message seen on GUI is expected and as per product design, if License core usage is more than the license key entitlement.

Resolution

1. Navigate to Aria Operations for Networks GUI on the License and usage section.
   
   
2. From License and Usage section validate the entitlement and the usage.
   
   
   
   
3. If Usage is more than the License key entitlement, add additional licenses to support your requirements.
   
   
4. After you have added additional licenses to support your requirements in the License and Usage section, you should expect that the warning message will no longer be seen.  .

 

NOTE:  You will not experience any lack of functionality because of this error. but in the event of an audit, you may be expected to purchase additional licenses.
