Issue/Introduction

Can we configure which investment types can be chosen as parent candidates for a given investment type?
I would like to configure that only Projects can be chosen as parents for Epics for example. Just now I can select any type of investment as parent of Epics. Is this feasible?

Any supported Clarity release

Resolution

Investment parents can be mapped on:

• MUX > Administration > Attributes > Investment Parents
• You can configure the Investment Type - Allowed Parent Types relationships

You will only be able to select Investment types that are enabled for Hierarchies.

This can be set at:

• Classic > Studio > Objects
• Edit the object desired and ensure the "Include in Hierarchies" check box is selected
