Issue/Introduction

An administrator wants to decommission SRM from the environment and would like to know the process.

Environment

VMware Live Site Recovery 8.7

Resolution

Steps taken to decommission SRM :

Step 1 :  Navigate to jexplorer of source and destination vCenter and removed entries of SRM from Configuration> Sites> Lookup Service > Service Registration and also from Service Principals.

Step 2 : Then navigate to both vCenter mob and remove vcdr (SRM plugin) entry

Step 3 : Power off the SRM VM from both vCenters and then delete the VM from disk.
