Issue/Introduction

Our email gateway is not treating emails. Even though it is up and all services are running. 

Resolution

When SMG is up, and all services are running but it has been noticed that less amount of emails are reaching your SMG applicane than usual do the following:

a) Gather public IPs for your scanners and make telnet attempts to ensure, that there is connectivity from external world on port 25.

b) Check based on MAL how many messages have been rejected by MTA, for instance becase DNS validation has failed.

c) Ensure that enviromental issues on your network are not present and that the private DNS is performing well.
