Issue/Introduction

Jama Adapter - table formats in rich text are corrupting

** NOTES:  At some point the rich text transformation actually worked and the tables retained their structure as syncs continued over time. I haven't been in Jama in a while and am not sure when this broke.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. FOR EPICSCreate an automation for Jama Epics <> Jira Cloud Epics
  2. Map the Name and Description fields, and set a _CONSTANT for the Jama parent Set.
  3. Save the automation
  4. Create an Epic in Jama. Notice the default table that is added to the description field. Fill out the table.
  5. After synchronizing to Jira, note that the table is corrupted in Jira
  6.
  7. STEPS FOR STORIES
  8. Perform the same steps 1-5 for Jama Stories and Jira Cloud Stories
  9. After synchronizing the Story to Jira Cloud, the description may or may not be ok. If it's ok at first, make some changes and sync it back and forth several times. The lines of the Jama table will disappear. Eventually the formatting will corrupt in Jira.

Expected Results:

  • The table is not corrupt

Actual Results:

  • The table is corrupt
