After upgrading to 10.9.2, you now see that scheduled backups and Backup Now unscheduled backups are failing to be transmitted to the storage server.
This issue is the result of a separate correction to the backup process detailed in this article:
Backup error: Please specify just the file name, not the path
This issue has been addressed with 10.9.2 patch 299 (patch: 10.9.2-299). Install the patch at your earliest convenience to resolve this issue.
Workaround: If you cannot install the patch, backups can be created and stored on the Messaging Gateway appliance directly, then downloaded from the Control Center web interface to be manually stored on the storage server.
