A Filetransfer from WIN to Unix Agent on Version 24.4 randomly generates extra lines in the target file.
The issue occurs since Agents were upgraded to version 24.4, a transfer of the same file from same servers with agents on version 21.x works fine.
Surprisingly, the issue occurs on one specific file, and always after a specific line. newly created files do not seem to have the issue.
Checking in an hexadecimal editor, you cannot see anything special on the line before this additional blank line.
Additionally, if we delete e.g. all lines except 10 lines before the inflicted one, the issue does not occur anymore too.
Another example about this issue is a File Transfer from Windows to AS400, whereas the target file in the AS400 has one line of the file missing (replaced its content by an empty line).
Agent Windows 24.x used as Source for transferring files to another Agent on any version.

Update to a fix version listed below or a newer version if available.
Fix version:
Component(s): Agent Windows
Automation.Engine 24.4.2 - Available
Public Description: A problem has been fixed where text mode file transfers initiated by a Windows agent would randomly introduce an extra empty line into the target file. This issue was identifiable by the presence of an unexpected blank line in the middle of the transferred file and did not occur in binary mode or with older agent versions.
