Microsoft Entra ID Authentication Fails with "Access denied. Unable to authenticate the user."

Issue/Introduction

After configuring Microsoft Entra ID Authentication, are able to add domain accounts to the vCenter but users may receive an "Access denied. Unable to authenticate the user." error when attempting to authenticate using Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD).

Performed the resolution in Microsoft Entra ID Authentication Fails with "Access denied. Unable to authenticate the user." however the error persists. 

Cause

Misconfiguration in the SCIM attributes. 

Resolution

Ensure all SCIM attributes and configuration are complete per Configuring Microsoft Entra ID for vCenter Server
