Error: "Specified parent network <Network name> is invalid. Either it is inaccessible in the VDC or it is not part of the correct organization" when deploying/coping the VM to different Org VDC in same Organization

Issue/Introduction

Unable to deploy/copy the vAPP or VM to from one Org VDC to another Org VDC in same Organization. 

Error: Specified parent network <Network name> (com.vmware.vcloud.entity.network:c37####-####-####-####-####fa17) is invalid. Either it is inaccessible in the VDC or it is not part of the correct organization.

 

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.6.x

Cause

This issue occurs when there are no Network Pool associated with the Org VDC.

Resolution

To assign the Network Pool for the Org VDC: 

1. Log in as a System Administrator to the VMware Cloud Director Provider Portal.
2. Navigate to the Organization VDCs view. 
3. Select the affected Organization VDC.
4. Click on Network Pool under the Networking.
5. Edit to select and save a Network Pool for this VDC.
